Multi Energy Systems (MES)
The research focus Multi Energy Systems deals with integrated, hybrid energy grids, which will become increasingly important with coupled energy sectors in the future energy system. We use energy system modelling methods to find solutions for the system integration of renewable energies and the required flexibility options.
Industrial Energy Systems (IES)
The research focus Industrial Energy Systems focuses on optimising industrial energy systems with the aim of transforming them in the context of climate neutrality. As part of various fields of activity, we use state-of-the-art methods to not only make complex industrial energy systems more efficient, but also to prepare them for the use of renewable energies and innovative technologies, as well as to identify their potential for flexibility and make it available.
