We are also delighted and would like to congratulate our former colleague Dipl.-Ing. Dr.mont. Josef Steinegger on winning the "Friedrich Schneider Young Talent Award for Energy Economics"!

The award ceremony took place on 4 November at the Forum Econogy 2025 in Linz. This prize recognises his excellent research on the economic evaluation of supra-regional district heating networks for the use of industrial waste heat for low-carbon heat supply, which is described in his scientific publication.
